Since entering the recruitment industry in 2008, I’ve had the opportunity to sit with some of the biggest names across multiple sectors. But my journey into recruitment and eventually founding Quad Dynamic began with my own struggle to break into my chosen career path.
After graduating with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, I imagined myself working at a leading agency. Instead, reality hit hard. Despite countless applications, the lack of experience kept closing doors. Needing to move forward, I took a role in recruitment initially as a temporary step but even while working as a recruiter, my attempts to enter the marketing world continued to fall short for the same reason: no experience.
Recruitment opened my eyes to something bigger. I wasn’t alone. Graduates, course takers, and internationally experienced candidates all faced the same barrier: employers wanted experience even for entry level roles. Sitting across from companies and managing the full 360° recruitment process, I realised the system wasn’t built to support people like us those who had invested time, money, and hope into their futures but couldn’t access the opportunities they trained for.
After years of witnessing this gap, I made it my mission to bridge it. I spent five years listening closely to what employers truly wanted, and from that insight I identified the four essential credentials candidates need to secure meaningful roles. That discovery became the foundation of Quad Dynamic.
Today, Quad Dynamic supports candidates across finance, IT, childcare, project management, and more equipping them with the credentials employers look for and helping them step confidently into their career paths.
My challenges had a purpose: to help people like me finally get the opportunities they deserve.
